Bassong scores on Spurs debut

16 August 2009 - Liverpool lost to Spurs at White Hart Lane by goals from Assou-Ekotto and Bassong. Gerrard scores from the penalty spot on 54th minutes, but Bassong header on the 59th minutes clinched a winner for Spurs. In the end only Liverpool didn't managed to win its opening match out of the so called big four of the Premier League.
